Our Focus

Clifford Heart is a 501c3 non-profit organization (EIN: 85-1565307). Your donations are tax deductible. Our focus is fighting homelessness with love, kindness, understanding and action. All your generous purchases will go directly to helping the homeless, hungry and in need. We aim to provide progressive and innovative solutions to a problem that has existed for a very long time.

CHF GIVING EVENTS

Cliford Heart Foundation hosts quarterly Giving Events in the Fort Lauderdale and Opa Locka areas of South Florida. We set up a table in an area where the unhoused are populated and volunteers give out water, resources, and essential items.
We distribute bags filled with much-needed items such as first aid, toilet paper, feminine products, masks, socks etc. we also make a point of also giving out fun items like small toys and ice pops.

Clifford Heart Bucks™

COMING IN 2025!

Clifford Heart Bucks™ will be a new type of “money” for the homeless, which can only be redeemed at an authorized Clifford Heart giving location. CH Bucks will help the everyday person feel more comfortable giving the homeless “money” and will help the homeless feel empowered to make buying decisions, versus feeling like charity is being handed out.

Looking Ahead…

On the back of each Clifford Heart Buck™ the recipient will find a list of authorized giving locations that accept CH Bucks. Eventually, we’d like to partner with local businesses like laundry mats, gyms, or small mom and pop shops so they will also accept CH bucks to redeem donated goods and services.
Clifford Heart Bucks™ give the unhoused an opportunity to “spend” money in a nice place where they feel welcomed. In turn, it gives CHF donors a new alternative for supporting our mission.

PROJECT BLOOM

The Clifford Heart Foundation is looking to get a warehouse space to create a drop-in center. A place where the unhoused can come and get food, clothes, resources, and essentials. A place where they can relax for a while and get some needed help. This large-scale endeavor to move Clifford Heart from a mobile support system to a brick-and-mortar resource center is called “Project Bloom”.

Project Bloom is the vision of CHF Founder and CEO Kytana Phillips. “The one thing I want to achieve is to build a one-stop center to help the homeless in my community. From showers, laundromat, shelter, store for clothes and food, access to mental health support, job options, and more.” We aim to get to know every need that unhoused individuals have so we can support them, and hopefully they’ll never have to be homeless again.
