Clifford Heart caters to the homeless community by feeding them, providing clothes, essentials, and resources. We set up a table in an area where the unhoused are populated and volunteers give out items.
We provide the unhoused with resources they need, but also items that are not necessities, but things they may like to have. For example, at our events we have given out popsicles and fidget spinners. Why? Because there’s only so much water and toothpaste that a person needs. Sometimes it’s nice to just have fun things!
Our events are held on Saturdays, every 3 – 6 months, in the Fort Lauderdale, Florida area. At the end of each year is our big holiday event where we give away the most items and have the most volunteers.
